Tasks
- Installation, maintenance, and configuration of Websphere Liberty
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning/scaling of the above-mentioned software (including Java Heap, Garbage Collection, threads, pools)
- Link between Java development and administration of WebSphere Application Server and DB2 for z/OS, network (decentralized/centralized)
- Implementation, execution, and automation of operational processes as well as deployment and testing processes
- Provisioning and application administration (including handover to operations and support)
- Software deployment and configuration
- Support in setting up an infrastructure
- Security lifecycle: roles and permissions, certificates, SSL
Profile
- Very good experience in Middleware environments
- Very good WAS (WebSphere Application Server) knowledge
- Good LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) knowledge
- Good experience in Linux/UNIX environments
- High availability (24×7 application) app server
- High availability messaging
- Native German language skills required
- Criminal record and security clearance required
