Tasks
- Software-defined networking in the WAN/LAN/DC area
- Analysis, classification, and resolution of 3rd level incidents
- Design and conceptualization of new solutions within our network infrastructure as well as evaluation of various requirements and solutions with our team of architects
- Implementation and operation of various state-of-the-art technologies, such as: Infrastructure as a Code
- Collaboration and support in cross-team IT projects (virtualization, storage, workplace, applications, etc.)
- Optimization of existing services including change management and lifecycle according to ITSM
Profile
- Completed IT-specific training is an advantage (HTL, FH, TU, etc.) or equivalent on-the-job learning
- Several years of professional experience in routing/switching (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, ACL, VRRP, BGP/OSPF), branch office solutions (SD-WAN/NAC/MSS), data center solutions (BGP/EVPN, VXLAN, MLAG, NSX-T, etc.), application delivery controllers and load balancing concepts, as well as various security solutions (firewall, zero trust, cloud security, IDS/IPS, access and identity management, etc.)
- Experience with cloud and IaC technologies, especially Azure and Terraform, is an advantage.
- Experience in conceptual design new solutions regarding design, planning and implementation of various technologies and manufacturers
