- DB2 LUW Server Management and Design
- Setting up and operating a highly available DB2 LUW environment that meets the requirements of continuous availability
- Using common data movement utilities for DB2 LUW
- Creating and managing DB2 objects
- SQL performance monitoring and optimization
- Support with database and performance issues, particularly with Java JDBC applications
Profile
- Several years of experience with RHEL Enterprise Linux
- Experience with DB2 LUW versions 10.1, 10.5, and 11.5
- Experience in applying and optimizing complex SQL statements
- Experience with DB2 utilities for database and object maintenance
- Experience with DB2 in a high-availability environment (purescale)
- DB2 security features to protect sensitive information
- Experience with database restore and backup concepts
- Several years of experience with DB2
- Experience with tools commonly used in the DB2 environment
- Teamwork skills, communication skills, independent work, and commitment
- Native German language skills required
