Requirements:
– Setup of new machines according to given pattern (using Ansible).
– Integration of the machines into the monitoring, backup incl. documentation
– Upgrade and post-installation of software on machines managed by us (using Ansible)
– Active management of all systems operated by us
– Troubleshooting, diagnosis of problems
– Processing of tickets in Jira concerning the operated systems
– Assisting in the implementation of setups for new projects
Must have Skills:
– Very good experience with Linux as an admin (at least 2-3 years of relevant experience).
– Redhat/Centos experience
– Ubuntu and other Linux systems
– Experience with at least one monitoring system (as implementor and operator of the monitoring)
– Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt) – Ansible/Ansible Tower desirable.
– Scripting, at least 1-2 scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Python or similar (like Java, JavaScript)
– Experience in Linux Hardening
– Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar products
– Experience in enterprise environment
